Presenting my latest creation @everyone

For the last month I have been busy creating a Barn Owl Calendar with photos my other half has taken, Taliswood Photography – John Taylor. Only managed to squeeze a couple cards in!!

I’ve created the calendar pad from scratch so we could have it exactly as we wanted it, only a crafter could say that I’ve used different fonts, colour co-ordinating the pages to the photos, included a notes box, captions for each photograph and January 2025 too!

It took ages to choose the best 14 pictures from the 100’s John has taken but think we settled on some good ones. They’re all pictured on the back page along with some Barn Owl facts.

I’ve chosen some gorgeous quality silk paper and card for printing on, by a fantastic local printers @swallowtail. It looks very professional.

Then I created a shop page on Johns website, which I also created, that really tested my skills which are in crafting not IT

We are very excited about both the calendar and the website and are very proud to say our 2024 Barn Owl Calendars are now FOR SALE at www.taliswoodphotography.co.uk . ALL profits are going to our Barn Owl Nest Box project, putting up nest boxes in Norfolk to help their conservation and increase future numbers.

John and I are both passionate about Owls, especially Barn Owls, whose numbers are not rising in Norfolk at the rate other parts of the country are.
